Study Abroad at Politecnico di Milano
SPRING 2024
Half a year abroad in Italy, studying at Politecnico di Milano. Enjoying and emerging into the Italian culture and way of living. I have learned so much about my own independence and time management. Being in a county by yourself makes you responsible for your own activities and priorities. Through the Urban Regenerative Design class I have gotten to understand and focus my academic goals as we were introduced to several of the professions involved in urban projects. Being involved in a real life problem was truly fascinating and allowed me to be more creative.
BS School Portugal Consulting Program
SPRING 2025
During spring break, the consulting program in Lisboa and Porto was an enriching experience where we visited diverse firms—from mushroom farms using old coffee grounds, a cork factory, a financial literacy company, a bank, to a sustainability project with wave energy. The trip was made even more memorable by the wonderful food and warm, welcoming people we met along the way.
Study Abroad in NYU Paris
FALL 2025
During my semester at NYU Paris, I immersed myself in both the academic and cultural fabric of the city. Learning French allowed me to engage authentically with Parisian life and develop a deeper understanding of the city beyond a tourist's perspective.
My urban ethnography course proved particularly transformative. Through the theoretical frameworks of Michel Foucault, Doreen Massey, and other urban theorists, I learned to analyze public spaces as sites of power, social interaction, and cultural meaning. Applying these concepts to Paris's parks, squares, and streets, I began to understand cities not as fixed structures but as dynamic environments constantly shaped by the people who inhabit them.
This experience equipped me with both theoretical knowledge and practical insight into how urban spaces function and evolve.
GLASS Peer Ambassador
2024 - 2025
Being an ambassador I have arranged and hosted several event and activities, created flyers and reached out to vendors. This has been a great way to connect the cohorts and get connected myself.
TERRA NYC Stem Fair- Volunteering
SPRING 2026
As an Event Operations Volunteer for the Terra NYC STEM Fair at NYU Tandon, I facilitated the logistical execution of New York City’s only Regeneron ISEF-affiliated research competition. I managed the end-to-end coordination of project floor layouts, participant registration via the zFairs platform, and the distribution of scientific abstracts for 22 judging categories. By overseeing crowd control and navigating hundreds of high school finalists through their presentation schedules, I helped provide a professional stage for the city’s top student researchers to compete for advancement to the international level.
​Volunteer and Leadership work with Arup Sustainability Team to collect data on Porta Genova in Milan
SPRING 2024
​I was part of a group of 10 international and Italian students that collected data specifically related to greenery and environmental performance, location, history to generate sustainable strategies to revitalize the area of Porta Genova Railway station. I was in charge of leading the drawing team, as we generated drawings. This work was introduced by my teacher Giovanna Fossa. We met only once a week for about four hours after class on Mondays, so many of the drawings we had to do separately.

OBOS Living Lab Urban development intern
SUMMER 2025
At OBOS Living Lab in Oslo, I led several hands-on experiments focused on compact housing solutions and community engagement. My work included designing and running pilot studies, conducting interviews, and analyzing data from residents and stakeholders. These projects provided actionable insights for OBOS’s innovation initiatives and strengthened my ability to guide research from concept to implementation within a collaborative, real-world urban development setting.
Norrøna Visual Merchandising Intern
SPRING 2026
As the Visual Merchandising Intern at Norrøna’s SoHo flagship, I lead the translation of Norwegian design philosophy into strategic retail environments to drive sales and KPI targets. I serve as a bridge between global HQ directives and local operations, architecting monthly floor plans that balance Scandinavian minimalism with technical functionalism. By managing inventory procurement and coordinating cross-functional teams to execute complex store transitions, I ensure the brand’s heritage of friluftsliv is effectively communicated through a premium, high-performance customer experience.
UN course on cities and climate change
FALL 2023
This specialised module introduces the theme of climate change in urban areas. I enrolled for this course this fall. In this class, I learned to understand more deeply the effect of climate change on urban areas. With several examples from all around the world, it gave a very fulfilling and realistic overview of the devastating consequences, not only focusing on the buildings themselves but also the areas and neighborhoods around them.
Data Analytics Trainee - Global Career Accelerator
FALL 2025
As a trainee in the Global Career Accelerator Program this fall, I developed professional-level skills in data analysis and business intelligence through hands-on work with real-world datasets.
In the Data Analytics track, I mastered advanced Excel techniques including PivotTables, PivotCharts, XLOOKUP, and A/B testing to investigate business problems and deliver data-driven recommendations. I learned to transform raw data into actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions. I gained expertise in Tableau, creating interactive dashboards and compelling data visualizations. I developed proficiency in calculated fields, data blending, and dashboard design using sets and parameters to communicate complex information clearly and intuitively. Beyond technical skills, this program strengthened my ability to conduct hypothesis testing, understand key business metrics, craft data-driven narratives, and present findings effectively to stakeholders. Collaborating with a global team further enhanced my professional communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Tandon Virtual Career Fair
FALL 2023
In Fall 2023, I attended the Tandon Virtual Career Fair. Through this experience I was able to meet 1-1 with a recruiter from NYC Department of Transportation.
Conference on Urban Geomorphology Studies and Urban Design and Petroleum Waste Management and Remediation in Tokyo, Japan
FALL 2024
I attended two really interesting conferences in Tokyo, where I got to learn about new and innovative design strategies related to wastewater. Also being alone in Tokyo emerged me into the culture, and I got to observe different ways in which planning was used.
Urban Development Intern - Møller Eiendom
SPRING/SUMMER 2025
I contributed to early-stage concept development for temporary park installations in the Government Quarter (Regjeringsparken), focusing on innovative, movable urban elements that enhance public space flexibility. I participated in site visits and project evaluations at key development areas—including Haslevangen, Balders Plass, Deich, Ryen, and Møllergata 24—gaining exposure to diverse urban contexts. I assisted in drafting a community engagement plan for the Ryen project and supported ideation on heritage preservation and neighborhood identity at Hasle. My role involved attending interdisciplinary meetings with architects (Grape Architects), policymakers (Rødt and Høyre), Oslo Tre, and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, providing valuable insight into the regulatory processes, feasibility studies, and collaborative strategies essential to urban development and real estate projects.
